Lunasurf traction pads are considered to be one of the best performing and great value traction pads on the market for a number of reasons. As well as being at the forefront of bringing the full grip and front pads back for functional and performance reasons before it became trendy again.

Unique Lunasurf Foam Density
We have been testing EVA foam densities for years with our global ambassadors who have ridden in hugely varying climates. From the tropical environment of Indonesia to the baltic testing conditions of Iceland. With that feedback we have now released what we believe to be the most comfortable and grippiest traction for your boards. Our unique lunasurf EVA foam density is designed to massively reduce any chance of rashes.

3M® Adhesive
As surfers we know that its a pain in the ass, not to mention a waste of money when you have just gripped up a new board only to have the grip fall off after a couple of months, which is why we only use the very strongest 3M® Adhesive on all our traction.

Your Luna pad will be staying put whether you are cold water surfing inn the arctic or enjoying the warm waters of the tropics.

A Brief History – “From our humble beginnings, we've grown organically to where we are today, we pride ourselves on being independently owned and operated at Lunasurf. Our staff are legit and love to surf. Who along with the result of decades of knowledge from our team of global riders, work closely with us vigorously testing, refining and validating our wetsuits, surfboard traction, fins, leashes and other products in the harshest conditions and some of the most remote locations on the planet – from subzero and snow to the sweltering tropics.”

Born out of a passion for surf, travel, adventure and knowing that you need well designed quality equipment to make the most of every situation. Each product has been designed and refined using years of surfing experience, from riding waves at our local beaches, to charging Pipeline, to camping rough in Iceland and Canada to pulling into perfect barrels all day in Indonesia.
With the expertise from high performance riders like Reubyn Ash, Zoltan Torkos, Kevin Meza a.k.a. Baja Koala and Ryan Carlson to explorers and barrel fiends like Timmy Turner, Ryan Turner, Hugues Oyarzabal and Ian Battrick, we know what works, and we are constantly refining our designs, products and coming up with new ones to suit all surfers.

Lunasurf wetsuits have been ambassador tested and trusted around some of the most frigid waters on the globe.

What is EcoPure®?

EcoPure® is a blend of organic ingredients used an additive to plastics that are proven to significantly increase the rate of plastic biodegradation in treated products. EcoPure® causes plastic to biodegrade through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal environment and marine environment.

There are approximately 380 million tons of plastic waste produced each year worldwide that ends up in landfills each year. As a result, landfills are filling up faster and faster due to plastic biodegrading at an extremely slow pace. In response to this problem, Bio-Tec Environmental developed EcoPure®.

EcoPure® solves the global problem of plastic pollution by improving the plastic manufacturing and increasing the speed of the biodegradation process.

We aim to have as small an impact on the environment as we can so we actively look for innovative products to help facilitate that ethos.
