This is the board I won the world title on. It’s a 2 + 1 fin set up with lots of bend, so it’s alive off the tail and it works off the nose. It’s quite bladed out, so it has a lot of planning ability. There’s not as much buoyancy in it as it’s a performance longboard, made to go upside down, nose-ride and all the shenanigans. Smooth ride. When you’re cruising at pace you don’t need buoyancy – you need planning speed, so I took some of the bulk out. Glassed with a 6oz bottom and double 4oz top. Double concave between the feet, single concave in the nose for nose riding with a diamond tail. The best version of a high-performance longboard I’ve ever surfed. If you feel like going upside down, hanging ten – that’s the board for you!
